As a homeowner, you have to make sure that everything from the house itself to your sidewalk is well maintained. This includes the trees in your yard. Therefore, it is important to know just when you should call for help. After all, trimming large trees or removing any size of tree is not something that the inexperienced homeowner is going to want to tackle on his or her own.
Branches Are Growing Past Your Property Line
Tree branches, no matter how big or small, need to stay on your side of the property line. You should not even allow them to grow too close to that line if at all possible. Therefore, whether you have tree branches shooting over towards the neighbor's home or quickly reaching over the top of the public sidewalk, you need a professional to cut them back. After all, the last thing you need is for one of those branches to fall on someone or on personal property that does not belong to you.
The Tree Is Dead
If you have a tree that has died, it is important to make sure that it is removed right away. Even if this tree looks incredibly sturdy, you have to assume that it is a clear and present danger to everyone and everything around it. Again, this is something only professionals should handle. They have to make sure that they are cutting down the tree in the best possible way so that it does not land on the neighbor's roof or on their vehicle. If there is plenty of room, they might just bring the tree down in one piece. Most likely, they will have one of their workers climb the tree and carefully cut down chunks from the top as they work their way back down the tree.
It Attracts Too Many Pests
When a tree attracts more bees or insects than you are comfortable with, you know that it is time to take it down. After all, if you are someone that enjoys being outside during the warmer months, you are not likely to appreciate a tree filled with bees or ants. You can leave that space of your yard free of trees or plant a new type of tree that does not attract too many unwanted guests.
As you can see, it should be easy enough to determine when it is time to contact a professional tree removal or trimming company like Sylvester's Tree Service.Share
